Cat's claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a plant of the Uncaria family (Rubiaceae). The leaf of the Uncaria tomentosa has sharp, slightly curved spines that resemble cat's claws.

The Cat's claw has been considered a sacred plant by many indigenous peoples of South America, such as the Asháninca and the Shipibo-Conibo, who still live in the rainforests. Its benefits are attributed to the root of the plant.
