Betaine and homocysteine metabolism: With 1983 mg of betaine per daily serving, the formula provides a clearly defined amount of this nutrient. Betaine contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 1.5 g of betaine. A daily intake in excess of 4 g of betaine may significantly increase blood cholesterol levels.
Betaine as hydrochloride: Betaine is a naturally occurring compound found both in the human body and in various foods. In this formula, it is used in the form of betaine hydrochloride.
With pepsin and L-leucine: Pepsin belongs to the protease group and is an enzyme that also occurs naturally in the human body. The combination is supplemented by the amino acid L-leucine. The pepsin used is of animal origin.
Fairvital quality: The capsules are free from gluten, lactose and fructose and contain no magnesium stearate or silicon dioxide.
