Standardized to 45% chlorogenic acid
The usual ground coffee we use to prepare our coffee comes from roasted coffee beans. Green coffee extract, on the other hand, is made from green coffee beans, more precisely from unroasted green coffee.
Ingredients of green coffee extract
It is believed that around 800 different ingredients can be found in green coffee beans. The amounts of each substance depend on factors such as the variety of coffee, how ripe it is, and the area in which it is grown.
Green coffee contains significant amounts of B vitamins , especially B5 (panothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine) and B3 (niacin). Furthermore alkaloids such as caffeine can be found as well as amino acids (e.g. aspartic acid, leucine, lysine, proline and glycine), lipids (e.g. sterols) and Tocopherols (vitamin E). However, the chlorogenic acid content, which has been standardized to 45% in the Fairvital extract and is therefore particularly high, should be emphasized. This corresponds to 675mg of chlorogenic acid per daily consumption of 3 capsules.
